Dhiraagu has decided to extend its high-speed internet support through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program until 2025 for all Amaan Vehi and Amaan Hiyaa centers established across the Maldives under the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services.

Dhiraagu stated that Amaan Vehi and Amaan Hiyaa are special shelters that care for children under state custody through the Family and Children's Service Centers (FCSC) of the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services.

Through this assistance provided under Dhiraagu's CSR program, high-speed Dhiraagu fiber internet will be provided to FCSCs established across different parts of the Maldives. This includes FCSCs operating in B. Eydhafushi, Sh. Funadhoo, HA. Dhidhdhoo, Dh. Kudahuvadhoo, L. Fonadhoo, N. Manadoo, Lh. Naifaru, Fuvahmulah City, Kulhudhuffushi City, and S. Hithadhoo. The objective of this program is to promote digital literacy and support the educational needs of children under state care.

Family and Children's Service Centers to Receive Continued Internet Support

Child protection and youth empowerment is an area that receives special emphasis in Dhiraagu's CSR program. In previous years, Dhiraagu has provided assistance to Amaan Vehi, Amaan Hiyaa, and Children's Shelter. Additionally, Dhiraagu always prioritizes providing support to various NGOs working for children's rights.
