Knife-Wielding Woman's Phone Heist Ends in 10-Day Detention

A woman has been arrested and detained for threatening with a sharp weapon and robbing a phone.

The suspect arrested in connection with this case is a 26-year-old Maldivian woman. Her name is Shana Mohamed Junaid.

According to the information received, the woman, who is from GDh. Vaadhoo, is a resident of Hiyaa Flats.

She was arrested in connection with an incident where she threatened someone with a knife on a street in Male' and robbed their phone.

The phone that was stolen in this incident has now been recovered and returned to its owner.

When presented to court for this case, she was ordered to be detained for 10 days.
