Member Praises President Muizzu for Speaking Out Against Gaza Massacre

Member of Parliament for North Hulhumale' constituency, Hussain Shareef, has stated that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is an example of Islamic leadership.

The member made this statement in an X (formerly Twitter) post, acknowledging the President's vocal stance against the ongoing massacre in Gaza.

Hussain Shareef further stated that unlike other presidents from Islamic nations, the Maldivian President is very outspoken in defending Palestine. He also noted that President Muizzu speaks out against the oppressive Zionist government that has crossed all boundaries.

Moreover, Member Hussain Shareef said that the President's actions demonstrate the sympathy and love that the Maldivian President holds in his heart for the beloved people of Palestine.

The Maldives has always advocated for the establishment of a Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders, including East Jerusalem. The Maldivian government continues to call for an immediate halt to Israel's illegal settlement policies in Palestinian territories and demands compensation for the injustices and discriminations caused by Israel's actions.
