WAMCO Announces Special Waste Collection Hours for Hajj and Eid al-Adha

The Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has released a special schedule for waste collection services during the upcoming Hajj day and Eid al-Adha holiday for the year 1445 AH.
According to a statement issued by WAMCO today, the company has established specific operating hours for waste transfer stations across various regions. In Male', Hulhumale', and Vilimale', services will be available from 2:00 PM until midnight. The Thilafushi disposal site will also adhere to this timeframe.
For the connected islands of Addu City, waste management services will operate from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Residents of Hulhudhoo-Meedhoo can expect services to conclude at 4:00 PM.
In Fuvahmulah, WAMCO has set the operational hours from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
This tailored schedule aims to ensure efficient waste management during the holiday period while accommodating the needs of different communities across the Maldives. WAMCO encourages residents to take note of these special hours to plan their waste disposal accordingly during the festive season.
