In a significant announcement, WAMCO's Managing Director Mujtaba Jaleel has committed to establishing uniform pricing only after ensuring standardized service delivery across the Maldives.
Speaking about the company's progress under new management, Jaleel reflected on WAMCO's journey over the past year, highlighting both achievements and challenges. He revealed that when the new management took over, they discovered several regions where staff had been hired but operations remained dormant, despite infrastructure being in place.
A particularly concerning situation was uncovered in two major cities - Thinadhoo and Kulhudhuffushi. According to Jaleel, employees in these locations had been receiving salaries for six months without any actual service implementation. A similar situation was identified in K. Maafushi, where hired staff remained inactive.
However, Jaleel reported positive developments, noting that WAMCO has successfully launched operational services in both Kulhudhuffushi and Thinadhoo cities over the past six months. Operations have also commenced in K. Maafushi. He emphasized that the company's primary objective has been to establish WAMCO's presence and services across all cities in the Maldives.
The Managing Director's commitment to standardizing services before implementing pricing structures demonstrates WAMCO's dedication to ensuring equitable service delivery nationwide, marking a new chapter in the company's operational strategy.
