The report alleged that the transaction was being conducted through a Dubai-registered company owned by a family member of WAMCO's Managing Director, Mujtaba Jaleel.

In its official response, WAMCO categorically rejected these claims, labeling the information in the article as false. The company asserted that all financial decisions are made through a comprehensive system involving specialized parties. According to the statement, final approvals for such decisions come from the company's board and bid committee, ensuring a thorough vetting process.
